Jennifer Lyons, USPTA - Head Tennis Pro, Junior Development Director

Jennifer grew up in Huntsville being a nationally ranked junior where she played tennis for Huntsville High School. Then went on to play on a tennis scholarship for the University of Alabama. She has been instructing at HAC for 13 years and presently on the Alabama Junior Tennis Council Board.


Nancy Liston-Hershey - USPTA Professional

Involved with the founding of HWTA, in 1967, after beginning to play tennis in "66. The Jr. Summer Tennis program under Roselyn Donnelly was my first experience in teaching tennis. Then part time with Brick Warden at Brahan Springs Tennis Center. In 1979, I came to HAC under Bill Tym. I am still enjoying playing, teaching, directing tournaments, organizing leagues after 23 years here at HAC. I am member of the United States Professional Tennis Association for 25 years. Currently I have been playing on Alabama's Team in the Southern Senior Cup, which is made up of all 9 Southern states.

Chris Shearburn-USPTA  Professional

Chris began his tennis career at UAH and HAC.   After completing his engineering degree and working in that field, he returned to his first career love, tennis.    After a couple of years at a large club in his hometown of Chicago and a very successful year at Dublin Park in Madison, he has come home to HAC.  He has USPTA – P1 and USPTR Professional Certifications.   He is married to Sybil, who is fitness professional and an outstanding tennis player too!    Please welcome the Shearburns back to the HAC PAC!
