NIRMAL SINGH
Biographical Data:  Mr. Singh has been teaching yoga at Huntsville Athletic Club since March 2001. He is a qualified yoga instructor. He has gone through extensive classroom training and self practice to develop a deep understanding of Hatha Yoga. Mr. Singh is engineer by occupation.

Yoga represents holistic approach to mind-body fitness. Regular yoga practice improves strength & flexibility, relieves stress, promotes mental calmness, heightens mind-body coordination, and restores balance.

Yoga Practice

Important Points:

1. Know your physical limits and medical conditions
2. Don’t push too hard and cause pain or discomfort. Listen to your body.
3. Breathe through nose
4. The breath flows naturally with a posture. Don’t hold breath.
5. Maintain inward focus
6. No internal/external competition, judgment or expectation.
7. Don’t perform yoga with a full stomach.
8. Take time to perform a posture. Speed has no place in yoga practice.
9. Yoga is normally performed with bare feet.
